| | Simworx announces 4D effects theatre for Drayton Manor Theme Park!

Due to open at the beginning of the 2009 season, the new, 152-seat theatre will be housed in an existing building which Drayton Manor will adapt for the purpose. Simworx will provide a full turnkey project which will include a Christie high definition projection system to present the 3D imagery, along with special effects lighting and the company’s Dimensions 4D effects seats. In addition to the familiar seat movements, numerous special effects will be incorporated into the attraction to help create an unforgettable experience, these including water spray, air blast, leg ticklers, aroma, low smoke and bubbles, while among the films due to be shown will be the Simworx distributed, Red Star Studio produced, The Curse of Skull Rock, winner of the Best Children’s Animated Film award at the prestigious Stuttgart Film Festival.

Suzhou Giant Wheel Theme Park to add Simworx Stargazer 4D motion theatre!10:21 17/09/2008
UK based Simworx, a world leader in the design and supply of simulation attraction and effects theatres, has won an order to supply four of its Stargazer Motion Theatres to the new Giant Wheel Theme Park in China. Located in the city of Suzhou, about two hours from Shanghai, the park is one of a number of new theme parks opening this year in China and is due for completion later this year. The Simworx installation is scheduled to take place in the fourth quarter of 2008.
