A Media-Based Attraction is a ride that combines the use of simulators and AV/FX elements, like a large screen with a projected movie, surround sound and 4D effects, such as smoke, wind or water spray, to create a multi-sensory experience. These rides are suitable for all sorts of visitor attractions such as Theme Parks, Museums, or Family Entertainment Centres.

We offer three types of different sized Flying Experiences, our Fly Motion, Standard Flying Theatre and 360º. Simworx’s Fly Motion is an adaptation of their Cobra Motion Theatre offering an alternative to visitor attractions with dreams of a Flying Theatre but venue height limitations. It utilises a 3-DOF motion base mounted on a track system that will allow guests to board the ride in a themed loading bay before travelling along a short track into the main show area where the action will ensue, projected on 180-degree screens. It boasts a 40 person capacity and features stepped rows of seats to ensure guest’s views aren’t disrupted. Our Flying Theatre is a great accessible solution to smaller venues, offering a reduced capacity of only 20, but also smaller footprint with a ¼ dome screen. While our 360º Flying Theatre in partnership with MONDIAL can offer a capacity of 60 for larger venues requiring a higher throughput. As per it’s name the 360º allows riders to be turned a full 360 degrees from the loading position to the dome screen for a grand reveal also offering a wider range of movement throughout the experience.

‘AGV’ stands for Automated Guided Vehicle, which means that no tracks or guide wires are required for our AGV Dark Rides to function. Our awesome AGV vehicles speeds are also unrivalled within the industry offering up to 2.4 m/s for a 3DOF motion base vehicle, seating up to 8 people.

Often, intricate theming, pre-shows and an original movie content can be enough for an attraction to be incomparable to anything else but we do offer custom solutions on the off chance you’re looking for something completely unique that has never been done before. Please get in touch with our team to see if we can make it happen.
